3. Slide the left and right transport clamp (2) back manually.
The transport clamps are at their rearmost position.
4. Slide the hood (1) back to the right until it locks audibly into place.

To disassemble the fabric sliding plate:

1. Move the shims out of the throat plate area.
• Press the left pedal for more than 1 second
OR
• Press the button Referencing on the start screen
The transport clamp along with the shims moves out of the throat
plate area.
2. Lift the fabric sliding plate (3) off the pin (4) and swing it out to the left.
