For machines with thread clamp (optional)

13. Insert the thread into the thread clamp from the left so that

the thread is held in place inside the hook of the clamp.

The thread is supposed to run through the clamp almost without

touching it and in such a way that it only makes contact with the

guides above and below the thread clamp.

14. Insert the thread through the left holes of thread guides (6)

and (7).

15. Insert the thread through the needle eye (towards the groove

of the needle) in such a way that the loose thread end faces

the hook.

16. Pull the thread through the needle eye until the loose thread

end has a length of approx. 4 mm with the thread lever (2) at

the highest position.

Important

Check the thread length.

If the loose thread end is too long, the thread may be caught by

the hook and cause a disturbance. If the loose thread end is too

short, the machine cannot start sewing.
