Using the Flash
The flash is automatically enabled at the factory. Use the camera flash if needed to increase the quality of your photos.
Using the flash is recommended as a last resort to brighten photos. Due to passport/id photo requirement, off-camera
lighting is best to properly light the subject.
NOTE:
For more information about enabling the flash, see your camera user manual.
1. Press the FLASH button on the back of the camera to open the flash hood and use it.
NOTE:
If your images are consistently dark and do not show the necessary details of the subject’s face
(under exposed, too many shadows, unable to clearly see details), changing the exposure
compensation can help correct the issue. You can make this change by pressing the BACK
(Q.Menu) button and scrolling to the desired option.
