Maintenance
1. REPLACEMENT OF BATTERIES
• Open the back cover (5-1) counter clockwise. (Figure 52)
• Replace the exhausted batteries with new ones observing correct orientation (5-2).
• Then, turn the back cover (5-1) clockwise. (Figure 52)
• Refit the filter into the frame.
• Refit the frame into the face shield and tighten retaining screw.
NEVER put used batteries into household waste.
Dispose in accordance with all applicable regulations.
Please recycle used batteries and stay GREEN when welding.
2. INSPECTION
• Carefully inspect your Auto-Darkening Welding Filter regularly.
• Cracked, pitted or scratched filter glass or cover lenses reduce vision and will seriously
impair protection.
• Worn parts should be replaced immediately to avoid injury to the eyes.
3. CLEANING AND DISINFECTING
• Clean the face shield with mild soap and lukewarm water.
• Clean the welding filter with a clean lint-free tissue or cloth.
• DO NOT immerse in water.
• DO NOT use solvents.
