Using the Filter
1. PRECAUTIONS
• Inspect all parts for signs of wear or damage. Any scratched or cracked parts should be
replaced prior to use.
• SKIN CONTACT ALLERGEN! Extra protection must be worn if the user is allergic to plastic
or other materials that may be in range of contact.
• NEVER place the helmet on a hot surface.
• NEVER open or tamper with the filter cartridge.
WARNINGS: When stored in extremely cold temperatures, the helmet should be warmed
up to ambient temperature before welding.
Personal protective equipment which exhibit damage or distortion to the
lens must not be worn and is unsuitable for use.
CAUTION: Make sure the filter is NOT under ‘Grind’ mode.
