Remove filter cover (Figure 43).
Remove contaminated HEPA filter and odour
filter/pre-filter, as applicable.
Dispose of contaminated items according to
local regulations.
NOTE: Do not allow any dirt or
elements, which may obstruct
the air flow to enter the air
inlet. (Figure 44)
Make sure that the HEPA filter
is fitted correctly into a filter
cover housing with filter label
facing upwards as fitted to the
respirator. (Figure 45)
If a spark arrester is to be used ensure it is fitted as shown on page 14.
If a pre-filter (DXPGPF or DXPGONPF) is to be used, this must be placed in the filter housing
before the HEPA filter is fitted as shown on pages 14-15.
Fit new HEPA filter before refitting the filter cover into its original position on the respirator.
