Activating Respirator
Switch the respirator on using the on/off
switch. (Figure 17)
WARNING: DO NOT USE THE RESPIRATOR if LED STATUS INDICATOR ILLUMINATES RED.
Refer to ‘Troubleshooting’ section on page 47.
Status Indicator (LED)
(All filter types)
When LED (Figure 18) illuminates GREEN,
it indicates the respirator is in a useable
condition.
If LED illuminates RED, you have 10
minutes to leave the area while still being
protected.
Exit to a safe zone and either replace the
battery or filter as required.
Never enter the working environment with
LED illuminated RED.
Refer to ‘TROUBLESHOOTING’ section on
page 47.
Users must also consider whether the filter and battery have sufficient life for the planned
time in the work environment.
