Repairs
The charger and batteries are notserviceable. There are no
serviceable parts inside the charger or batterypack.
WARNING: To assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY,
repairs, maintenance and adjustment (including brush
inspection and replacement, when applicable) should be
performed by a factory service center or an authorized service
center. Always use identical replacementparts.

If the belt hook is not desired at all, it can be removed from
thetool.
1. Place the belt hook onto the accessory attachment
location

at the base of thetool.
2. Use a screwdriver to secure the belt hook with the
provided screw. Do not use any other screw forthis.
To remove the belt hook, remove the screwthat holds the
belt hook inplace.
NOTE: When using the belt hook, keep hands away from the
trigger switch

WARNING: Blade is sharp. Handle withcare.
WARNING: Before starting blade replacement procedure,
wear safety glasses, disconnect the tool from battery and set
the trigger lock button

flat on even surface during bladereplacement.

screws

1. Use the provided #3 hex wrench

to unscrew the two
set screws and pull out blade
7
from itsslot.
NOTE: If the blade is stuck in slot, use a flat head screwdriver
or pair of needle nose pliers to removeblade.
2. Examine and clear any debris from theslot.
3. Insert a new blade into the holder slot. For proper
orientation of blade, ensure hole on blade lines up close with
the outer setscrew.
4. Use the provided hex wrench to screw in the two
set screws and secure blade in the tool. Alternately
tighten both screws to ensure correct blade alignment.
Avoid overtightening the set screws to prevent any
potentialdamage.
5. Ensure edges evenly stick out on both inner and outer
diameter deburringsides.
The tool is now ready touse.

Cleaning
WARNING: To prevent risk of injury, always remove blade
from tool before cleaning. Use dry cloth or wire brush to clean
air vents and remove shards of material from gearcase.
To
minimize the risk of eye injury, always wear ANSI Z87.1 approved
eye protection when perform
ing thisprocedure.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of eye injury, NEVER blow air
on or inside the gearcase to clean debris.
WARNING:
Never use solvents or other harsh chemicals
for cleaning the non‑metallic parts of the tool. These chemicals
may weaken the plastic materials used in these parts. Use a
cloth dampened only with water and mild soap. Never let any
liquid get inside the tool; never immerse any part of the tool into
aliquid.
Remove blade periodically to clean any debris from the slot.
