Important precautions
The appliance has been designed for use by private persons in their own homes.
Do not use it for commercial or industrial purposes or for purposes other than
those for which it was designed.
After receiving the appliance, promptly unpack it or have it unpacked. Check its
overall appearance. Report any irregularities in writing in the delivery note (keep a
copy of the delivery note).
The appliance may be used by children aged 8 or older and by persons with
limited physical, sensory and mental capabilities or persons without specific
knowledge or experience if they are accordingly supervised or have been
instructed on how to safely use the appliance and understand the related risk.
Children must not be allowed to play with the appliance. Cleaning and
maintenance to be performed by the user cannot be performed by children
without attendance.
Note: The accessible parts of this appliance may heat up when the hood is used
together with cooking equipment.
You can enable the de-energisation of the appliance by providing a suitable plug
or installing a switch in the fixed cabling according to relevant installation rules.
Do not modify or attempt to modify the specifications of the appliance. This is
dangerous.
Repairs can only be performed by an authorised specialist. Before cleaning or
maintaining the hood, always disconnect it from the power supply.
Never use steam equipment or high-pressure washers to clean the
equipment (electrical safety requirements).
