USING THE DUCTING MODE
If you have an outlet to the exterior
You can connect the hood to the outlet using a discharge duct (with a diameter of
125 mm or larger, using an enamel, aluminium, flexible or non-flammable duct).
If the diameter of the duct is smaller than 125 mm, use the equipment in the
filtering/recirculation mode.
If your duct has a diameter of 125 mm, use the supplied adapter. Note: the
discharge duct is not supplied with the appliance and must be purchased
separately.
USING THE FILTERING MODE
If you do not have an outlet to the exterior
Almost all of our appliances can function in the recirculation mode.
In such a situation, purchase a suitable set of accessories.
Consult the retailer or our after-sales service department for advice.
A tip to save energy
To ensure the optimum use of the appliance, reduce the number of bends and the
length of the duct as much as possible.
The hood is supplied with screw anchors suitable for most walls (excluding hoods
installed on the ceiling).
Before installation, make sure that the materials are suitable for the particular type
of wall/ceiling and that the wall/ceiling can support the weight of the hood.
* Note: components marked with an asterisk (*) are optional accessories supplied
only with certain models or components that have to be purchased separately and
are not supplied with the appliance.
