Installation and use instructions
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
During installation and maintenance, the device must be unplugged from the
mains, and the fuses must be switched off or removed.
When connecting the hood to the electrical system, always make sure that the
power cable has been installed correctly and has not been compressed by the
hood during installation.
Make the electrical connection before placing the appliance in the cabinet.
Check if:
- The capacity of the system is sufficient,
- The power cables are in good condition,
- The cable diameter is consistent with the installation rules.
If the power cable is damaged, contact the after-sales service to avoid any risks. If
the electrical system at home has to be modified to connect the appliance, contact
a qualified electrician. In case of any problems with the hood, unplug the
appliance from the mains or switch off the fuse corresponding to the connection
wire of the appliance. The installation must be consistent with the applicable
provisions concerning the ventilation of the premises. In particular, the
discharged air must not be directed into a duct used to discharge fumes from
appliances using gas or other fuels. Unused ducts can be used only upon
approval of the competent specialist. The exhaust duct must not empty into the
attic under any circumstances.
