10. RS-232 REMOTE
The RS-232 port is designed for switcher
control at a remote location. You can
connect a custom keyboard controller or a
PC/laptop with an RS-232 control interface
to this port.
To access the switcher’s settings and
functions, refer to the RS-232 control
protocol document which is available on the
product page.
For details about making your own RS-232
cable, refer to Appendix 3 or contact your
local Datavideo distributors.
11. TALLY OUT
The SE-2600MU Tally Output port provides
bi-colour tally information to a number of
other Datavideo products, such as the ITC-
100 eight channel talkback system or the
Datavideo TLM range of monitors.
Refer to Appendix 1 for more details of the
tally cable.
12. GPI OUT
The GPI socket can be used for simple
external control.
Refer Appendix 2 for specifics about making
your own GPI cable.

13. USB FW Upgrade Port
Connect the USB drive containing the
switcher’s latest firmware files to this port
for firmware upgrade.
Note: Depending on the control interface in
use, refer to the corresponding protocol
documents for instructions on using the
Install Software command.
