INSTALLATION
To eliminate the risk of buns or fire by reaching over heated surfaces, cabinet storage space located above
the cooktop should be avoided. If cabinet storage is being provided, the risk can be reduced by installing a
range hood that projects horizontally a minimum of 5 inches beyond the bottom of the cabinets.
Cut out the work surface according to the sizes shown in the drawing and chart below. For the purpose
of installation and use, a minimum of 2”(50mm) of space should be preserved around the hole. Be sure
the thickness of the work surface is at least 1 3/16”(30mm). Please select a heat-resistant work surface to
avoid deformation caused by heat radiation, as shown below:
Make sure the cooktop is well ventilated - the air inlet and outlet must not be blocked under any
circumstances.
