10 Finishing the outdoor unit installation
10.1 To finish the outdoor unit installation
DANGER: RISK OF ELECTROCUTION
▪ Make sure that the system is earthed properly.
▪ Turn OFF the power supply before servicing.
▪ Install the switch box cover before turning ON the power supply.
NOTICE
It is recommended that the refrigerant piping between indoor and outdoor unit is
installed in a ducting or the refrigerant piping is wrapped with finishing tape.
1 Insulate and fix the refrigerant piping and cables as follows:

a Gas pipe
b Gas pipe insulation
c Interconnection cable
d Field wiring (if applicable)
e Liquid pipe
f Liquid pipe insulation
g Finishing tape
2 For combination of the outdoor unit and indoor unit in table below, make sure
to activate the “Standby Electricity Saving” function. Refer to "11.2 Standby
electricity saving function"[454] for the setting procedure.

3 Install the service cover.
10.2 To close the outdoor unit
NOTICE
When closing the outdoor unit cover, make sure that the tightening torque does NOT
exceed 1.3N•m.
