12.1 Conditioned space requirements
If the system uses R32 refrigerant, extra safety measures might be
required because R32 refrigerant is mildly flammable. This means
that the system is restricted with respect to the total refrigerant
charge and/or the floor area served.
12.2 Determination of the safety
requirements
Once the total refrigerant in the system has been determined, use
the flowchart below to establish the R32 safety requirements:
