Multigang installations require a 2-, 3-, or 4-gang Horizon® 2 faceplate with metal
backplate (HZ2-FP-G, sold separately);
The metal backplate is required for all installations where the electrical box is flush
with or recessed from the wall surface;
The metal backplate is not recommended for electrical boxes that protrude beyond
the wall surface
