OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TO COOK IN MICROWAVE MODE
Use the Microwave Mode for simple, timed cooking.
1. Wake up the microwave by opening the door: to unlock the door, push the lock button up
with your index finger while pulling forward on the handle.
2. Place your food on the turntable in a microwave-safe vessel.
3. Press the MICRO button (it will light up in blue). The power level will default to 100%; see
below for how to adjust the power level.
4. Use the keypad to enter the cooking time, and press START. Alternatively, you can press
and hold a number on the number pad for 3 seconds to automatically begin cooking for
the selected number of minutes OR press the +30 SEC button to automatically begin
cooking for 30 seconds.
5. While the unit is operating, pressing the STOP/CANCEL button at any time OR opening
the door pauses the cooking and the timer countdown. Pressing START once the door is
closed will resume cooking. Pressing the STOP/CANCEL button a second time when the
unit is paused will return the oven to Standby Mode.
6. After the timer finishes counting down, the unit will beep and display “End” on the panel. If
you wish to add 30 more seconds in Microwave Mode, simply press the +30 SECbutton.
TO ADJUST MICROWAVE POWER LEVEL
After pressing the MICRO button to put the unit in Microwave Mode (step 3 above), you can
continue to press it to adjust the power level. It will adjust in 10% increments from 100% down
to 10%, then back to 100%.
