4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Switch o the self-emptying station or unplug it from the power socket and allow it to cool
down before cleaning it.
- Use a soft, slightly dampened cloth to clean the surface of the appliance.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids, do not allow liquids to enter the
appliance.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the appliance.
- Do not leave the appliance in a place with direct sunlight.
- Do not leave the appliance in a wet place after cleaning it.
- After prolonged use of the suction base, hair or other particles may become entangled in
the brush. To ensure optimum performance, clean it regularly.

- To avoid the appliance from overheating and losing suction power, it is essential to clean
the lters frequently. To make the most of the suction power, it is suggested to clean the
lter after every use.
- The lters’ shelf life will depend on the accumulated use and the type of dirt that is
frequently vacuumed. It is recommended to replace the lters approximately every 6
months.

Make sure the vacuum cleaner is switched o.

Press the dust-tank release button and remove it.

Remove the lter system from inside the tank and separate the lters for cleaning.

Put the lters back in their original position inside the dirt tank.

Ret the dirt tank.
- Vacuum and shake the lters to remove every dirt that may block them and hinder correct
air circulation. Remember not to use the vacuum cleaner without the lters properly
assembled.
- Filters cannot be washed inside a washing machine nor dried with a hair dryer.
- Do not brush the high-eciency lter.
Cleaning the vacuum head
The main brush spins at top speed and helps pushing the dirt into the suction mouth. This brush
is in contact with the oor and therefore with the dirt, so it can wear out over time, aecting the
cleaning eciency. It is advisable to clean the vacuum head once a week (depending on use).
1. Make sure the vacuum cleaner is switched o.
2. Slide the tab on the side of the vacuum head.
3. You can then remove the brush from inside the vacuum head and clean it.
- To avoid any damage to the brush, tangled hair should be removed.
- You can wash the brush with lukewarm water, do not use soap or detergents. However, it is
recommended to shake it or vacuum it to avoid placing it back again wet in the brush head.
