Warning:
Brackets should not, under any circumstance, touch the interior surfaces of the worktop after
installation. Fig. 8
Caution:
- It is recommended that qualied personnel or technicians install the hob. You should not
install it on your own.
- Do not install the induction hob directly over a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer, a
washing machine, or a dryer, as moisture could damage the electric system of the hob.
- The induction hob must be installed in a manner that ensures the best heat radiation to
obtain the best results.
- The wall and the area over the work surface must be heat resistant.
- To avoid any damage and ensure a correct xing of the hob, we recommend sealing the
latter using a sealing gasket or heat-resistant adhesive.
- You should not use steam cleaners.
Connecting the induction hob to the mains
- The induction hob must be connected to the mains by a suitably qualied person.
- Before connecting the hob to the power supply line, check that:
1. The domestic electrical installation is suitable for the power consumed by the induction
hob.
2. The mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance.
- The power cord supplied with the hob is sized to withstand the specic load indicated on
the product label.
- To connect the hob to the mains, do not use adapters, reducers, or branching devices, as
they may cause overheating or re.
- The power cord should not be in contact with any hot parts and must be positioned so as
to avoid its temperature exceeding 75 °C.
Warning
- Check with an electrician whether your home wiring system is suitable without modifying
it.
- Any modications should only be carried out by a qualied electrician.
- The power supply must be connected in accordance with the relevant regulations. The
connection method is shown in Figure 9.

Warning
- There are ventilation holes around the outside of the induction hob. You must ensure these
gaps are not blocked by the worktop when installing the hob.
- Please note that the glue that binds the plastic or wooden material to the furniture must
withstand a temperature of more than 150ºC to prevent the coating from peeling o.
- The rear wall and the adjacent and surrounding surfaces must be able to withstand a
temperature of 90ºC.
Before installing the hob
- Make sure the counter in which you install the hob is levelled, complies with the space
requirements, and is made of a heat-resistant and insulated material.
- If you install the induction hob over an oven, the latter must have a cooling fan.
- The installation must comply with all the safety requirements and the applicable rules and
regulations.
- The main wiring is tted with a suitable isolating switch that allows complete disconnection
from the mains, which has been installed and positioned in accordance with local wiring
rules and regulations.
- The isolating switch must be of an approved model and provide 3 mm contact separation
on all poles (or on all active [phase] conductors if local wiring regulations allow this
variation of requirements).
- If in doubt about the installation, seek advice from local building authorities and regulations.
- Use heat-resistant and easy-to-clean nishes (such as ceramic tiles) on the walls
surrounding the hob.
After installing the hob
- The power cord should not be accessible through the cabinet doors or drawers.
- Make sure that there is an adequate ow of fresh air from the exterior of the cabinet to
the hob base.
- If the hob is installed above drawers or cabinets, you must install a thermal protection
barrier under the hob base.
- The user must be able to access the isolating switch easily.
Fixing brackets
- You must place the hob on a stable and smooth surface (you can use the packaging). Do
not apply force to the hob.
- Screw the four brackets to the bottom of the hob, then install the latter in the worktop
recess (as shown in Figure 7).
- Adjust the bracket position to the thickness of the worktop. Fig. 8
