The dimensions of the following kitchen hoods are shown in Figure 4.

- Before installing the kitchen hood, make sure that the area is clean to prevent it from

sucking in dust or dirt.

- Please note that the kitchen hood must not share the same ventilation duct with other

appliances that use gas or other fuses.

- To facilitate air outlet, the ventilation duct should have a curvature of ≥120° and should be

connected to the outside wall, parallel to or above the starting point.

- After installation, ensure that the kitchen hood is level to prevent grease build-up on the

end (Fig. 5).

Steps to install the kitchen hood:

1 The kitchen hood should be placed at a distance of 65-75 cm above the cooking surface for

best eect (Fig 6).

2 Using a drill, drill 4 Ø 5 mm holes and a Ø 170 mm hole at the bottom of the wall unit as

shown in Figure 7.

3 Remove the mesh lter. Insert the plastic plugs into the holes and secure the kitchen hood

to the cabinet using the screws. Make sure it is centred with the worktop and replace the

lter.

4 Once the kitchen hood has been hung up, you can install the exible chimney connection

pipe (Ø150 mm) at the outlet of the ventilation duct, located at the top of the kitchen hood

(Fig. 8). If necessary, connect the other end of the exible connection pipe to the wall

chimney.

5 Connect the connection cable to the mains socket.

Black cable (or brown, depending on models) > Phase

Blue cable > neutral

Yellow-Green cable > ground

You must connect the phase and neutral cables to a 220-240 V~/ 50 Hz power cable.

The kitchen hood must be connected to an earthed installation.

4. OPERATION

Switches

1. To switch on the kitchen hood, set the switch to position “I” or “II”.

2. In the low-power position (I), the motor will operate at low speed.

3. In the high-power position (II), the motor will operate at high speed.

4. To stop the operation of the kitchen hood, turn the switch to the “0” position.

5. To switch on the light, put the switch to “I” position.

6. To switch o the light, put the switch to “0” position.

NOTE: the hoods are equipped with an overheating protection system that acts to prevent

possible incidents when the motor temperature exceeds the operating limit value.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always switch o the power supply before cleaning or performing any maintenance work on

the kitchen hood. Please note that the cleaning and maintenance frequency depends on the

use frequency and intensity.

1. To prevent the outer surface of the kitchen hood from deteriorating over time, it is

recommended that it be cleaned with hot water and a non-corrosive detergent every two

months.

2. Do not use abrasive detergents. Otherwise, the surface of the kitchen hood may be

damaged.

3. Keep the motor and other parts away from water, as water may damage the appliance.

Cleaning the lters

Do not use corrosive detergents to clean grease from the mesh lters. Regular cleaning of

the lters will prolong the life of the appliance and keep it in good working order. Follow the

instructions below:

- Cleaning method 1: immerse the mesh lters in hot water (40-50 °C), add neutral detergent

and let them soak for 2 to 3 minutes. Protect yourself with gloves and clean the lters with

a soft brush or scouring pad. Do not apply too much force, as lters are very delicate and

can be easily damaged.

- Cleaning method 2: if you wish, you can also wash the lters in the dishwasher at a

temperature of approx. 60 °C.
