NOTE:

2. BEFORE USE

- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance

out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other

packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the machine

when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure

all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.

- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any

piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the ocial Cecotec Technical Support Service

immediately.

- Do not remove the serial number of the appliance in order to keep a correct traceability of

it in case of assistance.

3. APPLIANCE INSTALLATION

Before installation

1. Before installing the suspended kitchen hood, make sure that the area is clean to prevent

it from sucking in dust or dirt.

2. Please note that the suspended kitchen hood must not share the same ventilation duct

with other appliances that use gas or other fuses.

3. To facilitate air outlet, the ventilation duct should have a curvature of ≥120° and should be

connected to the outside wall.

4. After installation, ensure that the suspended kitchen hood is levelled to prevent grease

build-up on the end. Figure 2

Figure 3 shows the dimensions of the hood, in mm, required for the installation.

Installation

Step 1:

Place the hood mounting piece in the desired position and drill the holes. After drilling the

holes, attach the 8 fasteners to the wall. Figure 4

To be considered:

- Hole ⌀ 8-10 mm

- Depth: 65 mm.

- Fastening piece ⌀ 10 mm

Step 2:

Remove the hood fastening piece and use the washers and screws.

- Washer ⌀ 6 mm

- ST6*60 screw

Step 3:

Reserve a space in the centre of the xing piece for the socket. Figure 6.

Step 4:

Take out the suspended extractor hood and connect the power cable to the socket. Then place

the cover on the clamping piece. Figure 7

Fix it with 4 M4x10 screws.

Step 5:

After hanging the suspended kitchen hood, it may need some balance adjustments.

First, lift the suspended kitchen hood slightly. At this point, another person should press
