- Unpack the appliance and keep the original packaging and materials in a safe place. It
will help prevent any damage if the appliance needs to be transported in the future. In
case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled
accordingly.
- To remove the lower part of the packaging, do not tilt the appliance on its front side.
Carefully tilt to the side. Never place the appliance directly on the oor on its back or front
part.
- Make sure all parts and accessories are present and in good conditions. If there is any piece
missing or not in good condition, contact the ocial Cecotec Technical Support Service
immediately.
- Keep all packaging materials away from children.
- Before using the washing machine, the appliance shall be calibrated.
- Before the rst wash, you must perform a complete washing cycle without laundry (i.e.
with an empty drum).
- Make sure that all pockets are empty. Sharp and rigid items such as coins, brooches, nails,
screws or stones may cause serious damage to this appliance.
3. APPLIANCE INSTALLATION
- Make sure that the temperature of the places where the appliance is installed or placed is
higher than 0 ºC.
- Install the washing machine correctly according to this instruction manual. Keep the
washing machine base well-ventilated when it is placed on a carpeted oor. Keep the
place neat and tidy as damage caused by insects is not covered by the appliance warranty.
Transport bolts
The appliance is equipped with transport bolts at the back to prevent internal damage during
transport.
Removing the transport bolts (Fig. 3)
1. 4 bolts are installed to prevent internal damage during transport. Remove the bolts before
using the appliance.
- If the bolts are not removed, violent vibrations, noise and problems will occur and may
even lead to serious damage.
2. Use the spanner provided to loosen the 4 bolts.
3. Slightly twist the rubber on the bolt and then pull out the bolts. Store the bolts and the
spanner.
