5. To ensure the stability of the freezer, you can adjust the height using the front feet. If you
turn them clockwise, the freezer will rise. Fig. 3
6. Make sure the adjustable feet are securely on the oor and adjust the tilt of the appliance
slightly backwards to keep the door securely closed.
7. Remove all tapes. Do not pull or push the drawers with force. Doing so could damage them.
8. Adjust the desired temperature. Do not open the door continuously.
Changing the door opening direction
1. Remove the upper screws. Then, remove the upper hinge that holds the door. Lift the door
and place it on a cushioned surface to prevent scratching. Fig. 4
2. Remove the bottom screws, bottom hinge, and feet. Fig. 5
3. Unscrew the nut and remove the bolt. Insert the bolt on the opposite side. Next, t the nut
and tighten it. Fig. 6
4. Replace the bottom screws, bottom hinge, and feet on the opposite side. Fig. 6
5. Carefully put the door back in place. Fit the upper hinge and screws. Ensure that the door
is aligned horizontally and vertically so that the seals are well sealed at the sides before
fully tightening the upper hinge. Use a spanner to tighten it if necessary. Fig. 7
4. OPERATION
You can manually control the freezer temperature using the knob. However, the number
displayed on the temperature knob does not represent the actual temperature. The higher the
number, the lower the interior temperature.
- 0 indicates that the freezer is switched o.
- For normal use of the freezer, set the knob to position 4.
- If a lower temperature is required, adjust the knob between positions 4 and 7.
- If a higher temperature is required, adjust the knob between positions 4 and 1.
5. INSTRUCTIONS ON FOOD STORAGE
- There should always be some space between the food inside to allow air to circulate.
- Food should be kept in airtight containers to avoid drying out or giving o odours.
- Hot food must be cooled before being placed in the freezer.
- Reducing the frequency of door opening can reduce electricity consumption.
- Warning: Do not use electronic equipment inside the freezer.
- Do not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than necessary.
- The lower the selected temperature, the higher the energy consumption.
- If the room temperature is high, the selected temperature is also low and the freezer is full,
the compressor may run continuously, causing frost or ice to form on the evaporator. If this
happens, increase the freezer temperature.
- Ensure good ventilation. Do not cover grilles and ventilation openings.
- Before freezing, wrap and seal fresh food with aluminium foil, lm, freezer bags, airtight
containers, etc.
- For more ecient freezing and thawing, divide food into small portions.
- It is advisable to label and date all frozen foods. This will help to identify foods and to know
when they should be used before they spoil.
- Food must be fresh when you freeze it (especially fruit and vegetables).
- Do not freeze bottles or cans containing liquids, particularly beverages containing carbon
dioxide, as they may explode during freezing.
- Do not put hot food in the freezer. Cool it to room temperature before placing it in the
drawer.
- To avoid increasing the temperature of already frozen food, do not place fresh, unfrozen
food directly next to it. Place food at room temperature in the part of the freezer where
there is no frozen food.
- Do not use ice cubes or eat ice cream or popsicles immediately after removing them from
the freezer.
- Do not refreeze thawed food. If the food has thawed, cook it, allow it to cool and then
freeze it.
- Too low a temperature setting may shorten the lifespan of the freezer.
- The entire freezer is suitable for the storage of frozen food products.
- Leave enough space around the food to allow air to circulate freely.
- For proper storage, refer to the label on the food package.
- It is important to wrap the food in such a way as to prevent water from entering.
- Before storing food, make sure that the packaging is not damaged as the food may
deteriorate. If the container is swollen or damp, it may not have been stored under optimal
conditions.
- To limit the defrosting process, place frozen food immediately in the freezer after purchase.
- If food has thawed, even partially, do not refreeze it. Consume them as soon as possible.
- Observe the expiry date and the storage instructions on the package. The following table
shows approximate shelf life, which depends on many factors.
Food type Storage time (months)
Bread 3
Fruit (except citrus) 6-12
Vegetables 8-10
Meatless leftovers 1-2
