The machine does not work, although the
switch is in the on position
A power failure has occurred. Close the looper cover.
The fabric is not neatly trimmed There is lint between the top and bottom
seam.
Clean the cutters.
The lower cutter is blunt. Change the lower cutter.
Seams gather or pucker The thread tension is too tight. Reduce the thread tension.
The setting of the dierential feed is
incorrect.
Reset the dierential feed.
Thread jammed due to incorrect
threading.
Thread the thread correctly.
The fabric does not advance evenly Stitches are too short. Increase the stitch length.
The presser foot pressure is insucient
for sewing heavy fabrics.
Increase the presser foot pressure.
The presser foot pressure is too high for
sewing light fabrics.
