The thread must pass through the upper slot of the thread guide (5).

Pass about 10 cm of thread through the needle eye and place it to the left under the presser foot.

Note: to make threading easier, use the tweezers included with the accessory kit and lower the presser foot.

Important note on threading

The needle threads must always be inserted last to avoid mistakes with the left looper thread, breakages or skipped stitches.

WRONG POSITION CORRECT POSITION

The thread should also be removed from the needle(s) if the looper threads break.

Reattach the lower looper thread rst, then the needle thread(s).

Changing the thread spools on threaded machine

Cut the threads near the spool and put the new thread spool in place. Tie the threads that are still in the machine and the new threads, and pull

the threads out of the needles. Set all the thread tensions to 5. Next, pull the threads of the needles until the knots pass about 15 cm beyond the

last thread guide before the needles. Cut the knots and pass the threads through the respective needle eyes. The looper threads can be passed

continuously through the looper hole and positioned to the left under the presser foot.

Presser foot lifter

The presser foot lifter is used to raise or lower the presser foot. The maximum vertical lift (6 mm) of the presser foot for particularly thick fabrics

can also be achieved by pressing the lifter backwards.
