This is used to connect to devices that communicate via the CAREL proprietary tLAN protocol (2 wires),
to receive information or send commands. Up to  ve devices can be connected, both I/O expansions and
drivers for the management of electronic valves. Alternatively, it can be used to connect the PLD/PST LED
display.

Ultracap

This module guarantees temporary power supply to the valve driver only in the event of a power failure, for
su cient time to immediately close the connected electronic valve or valves (one or two). It also avoids the
need to install a solenoid valve in the refrigeration circuit, or a backup battery kit.

DIN rail mounted, this can be connected as an alternative to the PCOS00UC20 Ultracap module. It can also
be used in applications with electronic expansion valve drivers not built into the controller (e.g. c.pCO Small -
EVD Evolution - external Ultracap module). If used with c.pCO mini, the module guarantees temporary power
supply to the controller in the event of a power failure, for a su cient time to immediately close the valve

The bipolar stepper motor electronic expansion valve driver manages refrigerant expansion in a refrigerant
circuit. The version with RS485 Modbus/Carel serial port is required with the c.PCO controller family. Alterna-
tively, the driver can operate in stand-alone mode.

card.
This is used to manage an immersed electrode humidi er and share the main parameters via the Carel /
Modbus RS485 serial line. It features:
all the inputs and outputs needed to completely and autonomously control the humidi er;
three LEDs to indicate: alarms (red), steam production (yellow), 24 Vac power supply (green);
connection to the CPY terminal (P/N CPYTERM*) or to the supervisor network using the Modbus® RTU or
CAREL proprietary protocol.
