Cold room temperature control
Cold room temperature is managed by modulating the electronic
expansion valve.
Probe con guration
UltraCella controllers have a maximum of fi ve analogue inputs, three
of which can be confi gured as temperature probes (NTC probes, high
temperature NTC, PT1000), and the fourth as a temperature probe
or 0-10 V input, the fi fth can be confi gured as a 4
- 20 mA or 0- 5 Vrat input.

Inside the cold room, the controller can use the following probes:

intake:
defrost, placed on the evaporator, preferably where ice forms the most.
Probe B1 is confi gured as a room temperature ambient probe and its
function cannot be changed.

the logic to be used for control corresponding to the physical full scale

Example: if a pressure sensor with a 4-20 mA output in the range -1 to 9.3
bars is connected to input B5, set
- /5L = -1.0
- /5H = 9.3
In this case, when the probe reads 12 mA, the value associated with the
reading will be 4.1 (half scale).
