2.9 Functional diagrams
There are two confi gurations, one for medium temperature applications
and one for low temperature applications. The main diff erence involves
liquid injection in the suction line, which in low temperature applications
becomes vapour injection directly into the compressor.
Alternative confi gurations are available that feature the use of capillary
tubing for oil and solenoid valve for liquid injection, and a backup
compressor in the event of alarms or breakage of the BLDC compressor.
1. Medium temperature confi guration
This confi guration involves Hecu managing a BLDC compressor, a
maximum of two modulating fans, an electronic expansion valve for oil
injection, and an electronic expansion valve for liquid injection. The serial
network allows monitoring and interaction with up to 5 evaporators
equipped with MPXPRO or UltraCella controllers, and CAREL EEV
electronic expansion valves.
