2. Main Tab Settings
❏ Autopalette Properties
If you want to check or modify the settings of a autopalette, select the corresponding icon, and open the
Properties of the desired autopalette. In order to open the autopalette Properties dialog box, click the
About Autopalette button on Windows 98/95, or click the Edit button on Windows NT.

The Properties window consists of the following tabs:
Quality: Specifies the total print quality (➔ page 36).
Special effects: Specifies the balance between print speed and print quality. Also provides you with the
one color printing option (➔ page 36).
Color Setup: Specifies color balance and intensity (➔ page 37).
Customize: Saves the new settings after the parameters have been modified (➔ page 39).
If you are running Windows NT, open the printer Properties dialog box, select the
Autopalette tab, and click the Edit button. The autopalette Properties dialog box will ap-
pear as shown below.
