To adapt the Hob for use wth dfferent types of gas, carry out the
followng nstructons:
•Remove the grds and burners
•Insert on hexagonal spanner (7 mm) nto the burner support
(Fgure7)
•Unscrew the njector and replace t wth one sutable for the gas to be
used (see gas type table)
2.4. REGULATING THE MINIMUM FLAME
After lghtng the burners, turn the control knob to the mnmum settng
and then remove the knob (ths can easly be removed by applyng
gentle pressure).
Usng a small «Termnal» type screwdrver the regulatng screw can
be adjusted as n Fgure 9. Turnng the screw clockwse reduces the
gas flow, whlst turnng t antclockwse ncreases the flow – Use ths
adjustment to obtan a flame of approxmately 3 to 4 mm n length and
then replace the control knob.
When the gas supply avalable s LPG - the screw to set the dle flame
must be turned (clockwse) to the end stop.
When you have carred out the new gas regulaton, replace the old gas
ratng plate on your applance wth one (suppled wth hob) sutable for
the type of gas for whch t has been regulated.
3. USE OF HOB - USER INSTRUCTIONS
Ths applance must only be used for the purpose for whch t s
ntended, domestc cookng, and any other use wll be consdered

not be responsble for any damage or loss resultng from mproper
use.
Before usng burner, be sure, grd permeters center the burner as
below figure.
If you are usng Cast Iron Grds; underneath the grd, poston of t s
stated. Be sure for the exact grd s used n correct poston.

4. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before cleanng the hob, ensure the applance has cooled down.
Remove the plug from the socket or (f connected drectly) swtch off
the electrcty supply.
Cleanng and user mantenance shall not be made by chldren wthout
supervson
Never use abrasves, corrosve detergents, bleachng agents or
acds. Avod any acd or alkalne substances (lemon, juce, vnegar
etc.) on the enamelled, varnshed or stanless steel sectons.
When cleanng the enamelled, varnshed or chrome sectons, use
warm soapy water or a non caustc detergent. For stanless steel use
an approprate cleanng soluton.
The burners can be cleaned wth soapy water. To restore ther orgnal
shne, use a household stanless steel cleaner. After cleanng, dry the
burners and replace.
It s mportant the Burners are replaced correctly.
The gas burner should be regulated so that the flame does not overlap
the base of the pan. Vessels wth a concave or convex base should not
be used.
WARNING: If a flame s accdentally extngushed, turn the knob
to the off poston and do not attempt to re-gnte f for at least 1
mnute.
If over the years the gas taps become stff to turn t s necessary to
lubrcate them.
Such operaton must be carred out only by qualfied Servce

with a moving part of the cabinet (eg.adrawer) and that it is not
situated where it could be damaged.
Warning: If gas can be smelt in the vicinity of this appliance turn off
the gas supply to the appliance and call the engineer directly. Do not
search for a leak with a naked flame.

and keep pushed 5 s after ignition.
The ignition system will continue to generate sparks as long as the
control knob is being pressed

and keep pushed 5 s after ignition.
Warning: In any case If after 5 s the burner has not lit, stop operating
the device and wait at least 1 min before attempting a further ignition
of the burner.
