How to Enable SSH Server in CLI Interface

1. Type the configure terminal command into theterminal.

2. Type the ssh enable command into the terminal to enable the SSH subsystem. Press the Enter key.

3. Type the exit command into theterminal to go back to the Privileged EXEC mode.

4. Type the show ssh-configuration command into the terminal to display theSSH server IP and port

information. Press the Enterkey.

5. Type the show ip ssh command into the terminal to display SSH server information. Press the

Enterkey.

Attention

The SSH server is enabled by default
