12. Important safety regulaons for rechargeable baeries

• Before using the baery, observe all safety instrucons and warnings in these

instrucons as well as the warnings regarding the baery and charger.

• Do not disassemble the baery!

• If the operang me of the rechargeable baery has become signicantly shor-

ter than usual, stop using the device immediately. There is a risk of overheang

or explosion.

• If baery uid gets into the eyes, it must be washed out immediately! Seek

medical treatment immediately! There is a risk of losing your eyesight.

• Do not short-circuit the baery. Contacts must not be touched with conducve

materials. Do not store the device with conducve materials.

• Do not allow any liquid to come into contact with the baery. A short circuit

causes a very strong current ow and can lead to overheang or burns.

• Do not store the device or the baery in places where the temperature exceeds

50°C!

• Never aempt to burn the baery, even if it is damaged. The baery may

explode in a re!

• Ensure that the baery is never dropped or subjected to any kind of impact. Do

not use a baery that has been dropped or shaken.

Notes on baery life

• Always switch o the device if you noce a drop in performance. Then recharge

the baery.

• Overcharging the baery will shorten its service life. Do not charge a fully

charged baery.

• Always allow the baery to cool down before charging it. Charge the baery at

a room temperature between 10°C and 40°C.
