9. Cleaning and care

Aer you have used the appliance, you should clean it. To do this, remove the

sucon head. You can clean the tank and the extracon lip under running water

(e.g. under a tap). Only use a dry cloth to clean the base unit.

Make sure that you do not submerge the appliance! The motor unit must never

come into contact with water. There is a risk of electric shock!

10. Safety instrucons and disclaimer

Never aempt to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modicaons. Avoid

contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not

approved for outdoor use; only use it in dry condions. Protect it from high humi-

dity, water and snow. Keep the device away from high temperatures.

Do not expose the device to sudden temperature changes or strong vibraons, as

this could damage the electronic components.

Check the device for damage before use. The appliance should not be used if it has

been knocked or damaged in any other way.

Please observe the naonal regulaons and restricons. Do not use the device for

purposes other than those described in the instrucons. This product is not a toy.

Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or

modicaon to the device that is not carried out by the original supplier will inva-

lidate the warranty and guarantee claims. The device may only be used by persons

who have read and understood these instrucons. The device specicaons may

change without prior noce.

11. Disposal instrucons

According to the European WEEE Direcve, electrical and electronic devices may

not be disposed of with household waste. Their components must be separated

for recycling or disposal, as toxic and hazardous components can cause lasng

damage to the environment if disposed of incorrectly. As a consumer, you are

obliged under the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) to return

electrical and electronic equipment free of charge at the end of its life to the ma-

nufacturer, the point of sale or to public collecon centres set up for this purpose.

Details are regulated by the respecve state law. The symbol on the product,

the operang instrucons and/or the packaging refers to these regulaons. By

separang, recycling and disposing of old appliances in this way, you are making

an important contribuon to protecng our environment.
