Restoring the factory settings (factory
reset)
Restoring the VG-800’s settings to their original factory settings is
called a “factory reset”.
You can restore all of the settings to their factory-set values, or you
can specify only certain items to be reset.
* All settings and sound data (memories) that you have edited are
lost once the factory reset is executed. Use the dedicated software
to save the data you need to your computer or other device.
1. Select [MENU]Ó“FACTORY RESET”.
2. Turn the [1] and [5] knobs to specify the factory
reset range.

3. Press the [SELECT] knob.
A conrmation message appears.
4. Press the [5] knob and select “OK”.
This executes the factory reset.
To cancel the factory reset, press the [4] knob and select “CANCEL”.
Once the factory reset is complete, the unit returns to the play
screen.
* Never turn o the power while the “Executing...” message is
shown, which indicates that the unit is still processing.
Setting the auto o function
The VG-800 can turn o its power automatically.
The power turns o automatically when 20 minutes (the factory
setting) have passed since you last played or operated the unit.
If you want to always leave the power on, make the settings by
following the steps below.
Note that when the setting is turned o, the unit may consume
more power.
1. Select [MENU]Ó“HARDWARE SETTING”Ó“AUTO
OFF”.
2. Press the [1]–[5] knobs to set the AUTO OFF
function.

3. Press the the [5] knob and select “OK”.
MEMO
If you set AUTO OFF to “20 MIN”, “1 HOUR”, “5 HOURS” or “10
HOURS”, the time remaining (in minutes) before the unit turns
o is shown from ve minutes prior to shutdown. A countdown
begins at the one-minute mark. The screen returns to the previous
state once you operate the unit or play your instrument.
