Processor Presets
Forum loudspeakers are equipped with internal, full-range passive crossovers that provide smooth, full-range
performance out of the box without any presets.
Using Bose Professional approved presets will enhance the response of the loudspeakers and offer additional
versatility. The presets listed here are available when using Bose Professional amplifiers or processors.
Application Preset Name
Provides a smoother flat response, with some extension to the
low frequency roll off point, as compared to using only the tuned
crossover
FC1xx_PassiveMode_EQ
Adds a notable additional boost for low frequency, while the rest of
the response remains flat. Reduces overall sensitivity.
FC1xx_PassiveMode_extBass_
Required for bi-amp use and provides the tuning for the HF device.
Combined with the LF tuning, this provides an enhanced flat
response that provides better summation through the crossover
region than compared to the PassiveMode tunings.
FC1xx_Bi-ampMode_HF_EQ
Required for bi-amp use and provides the tuning for the LF device.
Combined with the HF tuning, this provides an enhanced flat
response that provides better summation through the crossover
region than compared to the PassiveMode tunings.
FC1xx_Bi-ampMode_LF_EQ
Can be used as an alternative to the regular Bi-ampMode_LF_EQ to
provide a notable boost to the low frequency in a similar fashion to
the PassiveMode boost, while the rest of the response remains flat.
Reduces overall sensitivity.
FC1xx_Bi-ampMode_LF_extBass_EQ
Using a Safety Cable
Some regional construction codes require the use of a secondary method of securing loudspeakers
to support structures to provide additional safety. Choose a mounting position, method, and hardware
consistent with local building codes and regulations.
1. A safety cable can be attached to the loudspeaker using the threaded inserts on both sides of the
enclosure. The inserts are sized for M10 screws with a depth of 25mm.
2. The FC108 has additional safety cable attachment points on the rear of the enclosure. These inserts are
sized for M8 screws with a depth of 30mm
