Animations on the displays In certain circumstances, the hob can perform self-maintenance tasks, e.g. a firm-
ware update, optimisation or troubleshooting.
Wait until the process is complete and only then switch the hob on.
15.2 Access to product information
To solve any problems with your appliance, determine
the serial number (E no.), the production number (FD)
and the counter number (Z no.) using the following
steps:
Requirement: The hob must be switched off.

To switch on the hob, press one of the knobs in-
wards.
2.
Within the next 10seconds, touch and hold for
4seconds.

eration and may require servicing:
Yellow tipping of the cooktop burner flame.
Sooting up of cooking utensils.
Burners not lighting properly.
Gas valves, which are difficult to turn.
In case the appliance fails to operate correctly, contact
the authorised service provider in your area.

Make a note of your appliance's details and the Cus-
tomer Service telephone number to find them again
quickly.

18.1 Disposing of old appliance
Valuable raw materials can be reused by recycling.

Unplug the appliance from the mains.
2.
Cut through the power cord.
3.
Close the main gas tap.
4.
Dispose of the appliance in an environmentally
friendly manner.

able from your specialist dealer or local authority.

with European Directive 2012/19/EU
concerning used electrical and elec-
tronic appliances (waste electrical and
electronic equipment - WEEE).
