4.1 Control panels
You can use the control panel to configure all functions
of your appliance and to obtain information about the
operating status.

You can use the controls to configure all functions of
your appliance and to obtain information about the op-
erating status.
On certain models, specific details such as colour and
shape may differ from those pictured.

Buttons and display
The buttons are touch-sensitive surfaces. To se-
lect a function, simply press lightly on the relev-
ant symbol with your fingertip at 90° to the but-
ton.
The display shows symbols for active functions
and the time-setting options.
Buttons and display
You can use the buttons to set various functions for
your appliance. The display shows the settings.
If a function is active, the corresponding symbol lights
up on the display. The clock symbol only lights up
when you change the time.
Note:Once you press a button, you need to wait a mo-
ment before you can press any other button.
Symbol Function Use
Main switch Switch the oven on and off.
Settings area Configure the time functions or the temperature or set the automatic
programmes.
Start/pause ¡ Press briefly: Start or pause the appliance.
¡ Press and hold: Cancel the operation
Types of heating Select the most suitable cooking method for the food.
Programmes Select the automatic programme.
HomeConnect Start up Home Connect.
Temperature or grill setting Select a temperature or grill setting.
Weight Select a weight for the programmes.
Information The cooking compartment temperature is displayed for a few
seconds while the appliance is heating up.
Childproof lock Activate or deactivate the childproof lock.
Rapid heating Preheat the cooking compartment rapidly without accessories.
Cleaning functions Select the type of cleaning.
Time-setting options Select the time , timer , cooking time and the end time .
To select the individual time-setting options, press the button sev-
eral times.
