Operation

Starting Operation

u Never leave the measuring tool unattended when switched on,

and ensure the measuring tool is switched off after use.

u Protect the measuring tool from moisture and direct sunlight.

u Do not expose the measuring tool to any extreme temperatures

or variations in temperature. For example, do not leave it in a car

for extended periods of time. In case of large variations in temperat-

ure, allow the measuring tool to adjust to the ambient temperature

before putting it into operation. The precision of the measuring tool

may be compromised if exposed to extreme temperatures or vari-

ations in temperature.

u Avoid substantial knocks to the measuring tool and avoid drop-

ping it.

Switching On and Off

Turn the rotation switch(2) to the required measuring function to

switch on the Digital Multimeter.

Turn the rotation switch to the position to switch off the Digital

Multimeter.

If no value is measured for approx. 20min or no button is pressed on the

Digital Multimeter or the rotation switch is not adjusted, the Digital Multi-

meter will automatically switch itself off to preserve the non-re-

chargeable batteries. To disable automatic shutdown, press and hold

the Hold button while switching on the Digital Multimeter (e.g. by turn-
