1 USB device connections for USB/KVM routing within Multicast system
2 IR IN (IR input) – 3.5mm stereo jack. Transmits IR to the IP250UHD-TX transmitter currently being viewed for IR
source control. Please use supplied Blustream IRR 5V IR Receiver. When using the Blustream IRCAB cable (optional)
ensure cable direction is correct
3 IR OUT - (IR output) - 3.5mm mono jack – routed IR from any IP250UHD-TX for IR control of the display (see Fixed
Routing section). Use supplied Blustream IRE1 5V IR emitter
4 Channel select Up/Down - used to scroll through menu system, select sources (IP250UHD-TX) and setup
IP250UHD-RX manually
5 Status LCD - displays product information
6 Assignable bi-directional RS-232 port – connect to third party control device to extend RS-232 commands to any or
multiple IP250UHD Multicast products RS-232 port
7 Reset button - press and hold for 5 seconds to factory reset the product
8 Debug switch - used to gather debug information, leave in "OFF" position during normal use
9 Link LED indicator - solid status light indicates a stable HDMI connection
q Power LED indicator
w LAN 1 connection (PoE) - connect to Layer 3 Managed switch for combined HDMI video and Dante audio
distribution
e LAN 2 connection - connect to Layer 3 Managed switch for independent HDMI video or Dante audio distribution
r SFP connection - connect to Layer 3 Managed switch SFP port for combined HDMI video and Dante audio
distribution
t HDMI output – connect to a HDMI display
y Optical input - connect to TV's optical output to return TV audio via Dante to Transmitter or other Dante devices
(2ch PCM audio support only)
u L/R Analogue audio line output - balanced or unbalanced 2ch audio breakout
Please note: Source input must be PCM 2ch audio for analogue audio outputs to work. Multicast products do not
down-mix Dolby Digital, DTS or 5.1ch audio signals
i Power port – use 24V 1A DC adaptor (sold separately) if not using a PoE network switch
