Dual Zone
The Dual Zone function combines two cooking zones
and controls them as one, resulting in one larger
cooking area. This gives the exibility to use larger
cookware, including roasting pans and griddles.
To get best use of the Dual Zone, cookware needs to
fully cover both individual cooking zones. There may be
a slightly cooler area in the center between the two
cooking zones.
Only the Dual Power Zone (on the left side of the
cooking surface) allows use of the Power Boost function.
1. Set both knobs of the Dual Zone to power level 9.
2. Rotate both knobs to the P position and hold until
the display shows on the front cooking zone.
3. Use the front cooking zone knob to adjust the power
level of the combined Dual Zone. Rotating the knob
of the rear cooking zone will cancel the combination.
Automated heat-up
All the cooking zones feature the automated heat-up
function. This function allows to rapidly heat-up food or
liquid then automatically reduces the power level to a
pre-selected power setting.
The amount of time the cooking zone will rapidly heat-
up depends on the pre-selected power setting.
1. Push and turn the knob counter-clockwise until you
reach the stop and hold for 2 seconds until
displays.
2. Rotate the knob clockwise and select the desired
power level. The selected power level and is
blinking, showing the function is activated.
3. The automated heat-up is set. The cooking zone will
rapidly heat-up the cookware and then reduce
automatically to the selected power level. Changing
the power level setting will cancel the function.
