Start-up / switch-off a cooking zone
1. Place a cookware on the cooking zone. In case you
try to start without cookware, the display will show
and the cooking zone won’t heat-up.
2. Push and turn clockwise the knob corresponding to
the desired cooking.
3. The corresponding display will turn on.
4. You can now adjust to the desired power level (from
1 to 9).
Note: if the cookware is removed from the cooking
zone, the operation is stopped and the display shows

Smart power optimization
The induction range has a maximum potential power.
When the ovens are activated and/or high power levels
are set on the cooktop, the electronic system
automatically reduces the power level of individual
cooking zones so that the cooking can continue on the
highest power levels possible.
Cooktop Control—Functions
Power Boost
All the cooking zones feature the Power Boost function.
This function provides a boost of power to the selected
cooking zone. When activated, the cooking zone works
at an extra high speed for a maximum of 10 minutes.
This is meant to be used for heating large quantities of
liquids very quickly (e.g. water for pasta).
1. Set the knob of the desired cooking zone to power
level 9.
2. Rotate the knob to the P position and hold for 2
seconds until display shows
Keep Warm and Simmer
All the cooking zones feature the Keep Warm and
Simmer functions. These functions allow the cooking
zones to reach and automatically maintain a temperature
of 150°F (70°C) or 200°F (94°C). This prevents liquids
from overowing and food from burning.
The for Keep Warm at 150°F and for Simmer at
200°F are intermediary positions of the knob between 0
and 1.
