INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
SNOW SHOVELS
Black Diamond’s snow shovel line is designed to deploy quickly. No other
snow shovel on the market allows you to react in an emergency as quickly
as our innovative and patent-pending Deploy Series. Designed for serious
excavation, our Transfer Series offers the maximum rigid shaft extension in
our shovel line. Both series feature trapezoidal designs so you never waste
precious seconds searching for spring-pin holes to lock. Both series also
have steep-walled blades for maximum snow transport and a flat-bottomed
design for digging smooth snow-pit walls. Our unique “T & D” handle offers
control and comfort, whether you’re using mitts, gloves or bare hands.
DEPLOY AND DEPLOY
To activate, depress the rapid deployment spring pin (A, Illustration
1) and extend the integrated shaft (B, Illustration 1) for immediate
emergency response. To collapse, depress the spring-pin (A, Illustration
2) and push the shaft (B, Illustration 2) back into the shovel blade.
