7.12 Restarting the emergency wristband/troubleshooting
You can reset and restart the emergency wristband if you unexpectedly experience problems
with the device and can no longer use it.
• To do this, connect the emergency wristband to the charger whilst holding down the ON/
OFF/emergency button

. Hold down the button until all 4 LEDs light up white. Once you
remove the emergency wristband from the charger, it should work normally again. If the
problems persist, please contact Customer Services.
8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To ensure full functionality, clean the emergency wristband, charger and other accessories at
regular intervals.
Cleaning the emergency wristband

Clean the wristband with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use chemical cleaning
products.
3. Allow the wristband to dry completely.
4. Check that there are no more liquids or dirt on the microphone

Technical maintenance
• Make sure that you replace the emergency wristband in the case of a defect or a severe
reduction in battery life. Please contact our Customer Services.
• Clean the emergency wristband, the charger and all accessories at regular intervals.
• Check the emergency wristband, the charger and all accessories regularly for damage (e.g.
to the housing or charging contacts) and replace damaged or defective accessories if nec-
essary. Please contact our Customer Services.
Functional test
• Regularly check all functions of the emergency wristband (manual emergency notification
as described in chapter 7.7, battery level indicator as described in chapter 7.9 and check of
network strength as described in chapter 7.10).
• Make sure that the ON/OFF/emergency button

works properly.
• Check whether all installed LEDs are functional.
• Test the microphone

by making a test emergency call.
Also regularly check the network strength and battery level so that you can take swift action
in the event of a fault. This is the only way to ensure that the device will work properly in
an emergency.
