3.4 Installation procedure

3.4.1 Preparation for installation

1 Familiarise yourself with the installation situation and the

associated documents.

2 Device and instructions.

2 Installation location.

1 Assemble the tools and materials required:

2 Stable stepladder

2 Folding rule or measuring tape

2 Pencil

2 Spirit level

2 Slotted screwdriver SL 2.5 x 0.4

2 Torx screwdriver TX30

2 Ø 8 mm masonry bit

2 Hammer drill

2 10 mm spanner

2 Protective material (e.g. thick cardboard) for the hob

and the worktops

1 Keep the installation area free of objects that could be in

the way or that could be damaged.

1 Make sure that the hob and other parts that could be

touched have cooled down.

1 Protect the hob and other surfaces in the installation area

(e.g. with thick cardboard).

1 Ensure that the power supply is switched off and remains

so. Connect the power supply only when instructed to do

so in the installation instructions.

3.4.2 Unpack the device

. ATTENTION!

Hazard of glass breaking or other damage due to

incorrect handling!

The device and its surfaces can be damaged when being

unpacked or transported.

1 Do not cut into the protective cardboard packaging.

1 Keep objects that could scratch the device far away from

it (e.g. tools, belt buckles).

1 Unpack the device and all accompanying parts carefully.

1 Place the device on its back on a firm, clean and

protective surface (e.g. thick cardboard).

1 Check the device and its constituent parts for damage.

1 Check the delivery is complete.

If parts are missing or damaged:

1 Please consult the customer services.

1 Remove the packaging material and the protective film.
