Install remote control batteries
1. Open the remote control battery cover.
2. Insert the batteries, ensuring the positive and negative ends are facing in the correct
direction.
3. Put the cover back on.
Usage guidelines
• Keep the remote control cool and dry at all times. Prolonged exposure to direct heat and
humidity may cause it to malfunction.
The following guidelines are only applicable when using the IR sensor.
• Keep the IR sensor away from direct sunlight or a strong light source as this may disrupt
the remote control signal. Adjust the room lighting or the placement of the display to ensure
proper communication with the IR sensor.
• The maximum remote control distance is 4 m (26.24 ft) from the IR sensor.
• The remote control must be within the horizontal range of 60 degrees and the vertical range
of 30 degrees to ensure proper transmission to the IR sensor.
