7.2 Additional functions
The dishwasher’s cycles are designed to
deliver the best cleaning performance by
considering the type and amount of dirt and
the properties of the dishes to be washed.
Additional functions have been added to
help you save time, water and energy, and
for a more convenient and hygienic wash
with its customisable settings.
Additional functions may alter the
duration of the selected cycle.
Additional functions are not avail-
able for all programs. A function’s
indicator will not show if is not
available for the programme.
Functions that can be used in
washing programmes are shown
with letters such as ‘A, B,D,E,G,F,K...’
in the 'Cycle Information and Aver-
age Consumption Values Table’.
You can find instructions on the
use of these functions in the 'Addi-
tional functions' section of the user
manual.
Some auxiliary functions cannot be
used together. If the function you
have selected does not show even
though it appears in the "Cycle In-
formation And Average Consump-
tion Values Table", you can activate
it after switching off other auxiliary
functions.
To add additional functions to the cycle:
1. Select the desired washing pro-
gramme.
2. When you select an additional function,
the indicator for the additional function
will light up. When you press the func-
tion button again, the indicator goes
out and the selection is cancelled.
If your dishwasher has sub-menu functions
depending on the model, see the instruc-
tions in the additional functions section for
their use.
Not all of the functions indicated
with letters such as "A,B,D,E,G,F,K..."
in the Cycle Information and Aver-
age Consumption Values Table can
be used in your dishwasher; the
functions that can be used in your
dishwasher are explained in the ad-
ditional functions section of this
manual.
Half Load function (Y)
(depends on the model)
Use this when you want to run your dish-
washer without fully loading it.
1. Place your dishes in your dishwasher as
you wish.
2. Turn on the dishwasher using the On/Off
button.
3. First, select the cycle you desired, then
press the Half Load button.
4. Run the cycle by pressing the Start/
Pause/Cancel button.
The Half Load function saves you water
and energy while using the lower and upper
baskets of your dishwasher at the same
time.
SteamGloss function (E)
(depends on the model)
This function maximises drying perform-
ance. It can extend the duration of the se-
lected cycle by up to 30 minutes.
Hygiene Intense function (H)
(depends on the model)
Use this when more hygiene is required for
washing the dishes. This function in-
creases the washing and rinsing temperat-
ures and duration of the selected cycle.
Moreover, an additional rinsing cycle is per-
formed to wash and rinse your dishes with
more hygiene.
If the Automatic Door Open feature is act-
ive, Hygiene Intense function cannot be se-
lected.
