11. Safety in the work area
a. Keep the work area clean and well lit, as dark areas
can promote accidents.
b. Do not operate the power tool in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the vicinity of flammable
liquids, gases or dust. Power tools generate sparks
that can ignite dust or gases.
c. Keep children and bystanders away from the power
tool, as distractions can lead to a loss of control.
12. Personal safety
a. Stay alert, pay attention to your surroundings and use
power tools wisely. Do not use the power tool when
you are tired or under the influence of medication,
alcohol or drugs. Even a moment of inattention when
using power tools can lead to serious injury.
b. Wear personal protective equipment. Always wear eye
protection and, if necessary, use protective equipment
such as a dust mask, non-slip safety shoes, a hard hat
or hearing protection to reduce the risk of injury.
