How to start or stop quilting

Foot Pedal:

In Manual Mode, you may use the foot pedal to control the speed of the machine as it stitches. The

further the pedal is pressed, the faster the machine will make stitches. In Stitch Regulation Mode,

both in Precision and Cruise, the foot pedal acts more like an On/O switch. In Regulation Mode

the speed of the machine is controlled by how fast the fabric is moved over the machine needle

plate.

 NOTE: When the machine foot controller is pressed, the button color and icon show that

the machine is running by changing the button to the pause icon and blue background.

When the foot pedal is released, this button will return to the green button with the play

icon.

 QUILTING TIP: Green is ACTIVE and Blue is INACTIVE

Start/Stop Button:

The Start/Stop button at the top right of the screen may be used to start and stop the machine

instead of the foot pedal. When the Start/Stop button is pressed, the machine will start, even if

the foot pedal is not pressed, and the symbol on the button will change from the play arrow to a

double line pause icon. The button color will also change to green. When the button is pressed

again, the machine will stop and the pause icon with a blue background color will turn into the play

icon with a green background.

When the machine foot controller is pressed, the button color and icon show that the machine is

running by changing the button to the pause icon and blue background. When the foot pedal is

released, this button will return to the green button with the play icon.
