Installation Instructions for AXSWCH-T28
Connections to be made
From the AXSWCH-T28 harness to the aftermarket radio:
• Connect the Black wire to the ground wire.
• Connect the Red wire to the accessory wire.
• Connect the Red and White RCA jacks to the audio AUX-IN jacks (if so equipped).
The following (2) wires are for aftermarket multimedia/navigation radios that provide these
wires (if not required, tape them off and disregard them):
• Connect the Light Green wire to the parking brake wire (if applicable).
• Connect the Green/Purple wire to the reverse wire (if applicable).
Installing the AXSWCH-T28
• With the key in the off position, connect the AXSWCH-T28 harness into the AXSWC (sold
separately), and then into the vehicle.
•
Follow the instructions included with the AXSWC (sold separately) for connections to the 3.5mm jack
.
• With all connections completed, reconnect the negative battery terminal.
Programming the AXSWC (sold separately)
When using the AXSWC to retain steering wheel audio controls:
• Turn the key to ignition; the L.E.D. in the AXSWC (sold separately) will flash fast.
Note: If your vehicle has a RETURN button on the steering wheel, press and hold that button
during this process.
• After about 20 seconds the L.E.D. will light up solid indicating the AXSWC (sold separately) has
been programmed. If the L.E.D. does not light up solid, or the steering wheel controls do not
work, refer to the instructions included with the AXSWC (sold separately) for troubleshooting.
Connections to be made

Conexiones que se deben hacer
Desde el arnés AXSWCH-T28 al radio de mercado secundario:
• Conecte el cable negro al cable de tierra.
• Conecte el cable rojo con el cable de accesorios.
• Conecte los conectores RCA rojo y blanco con los conectores AUX-IN (si así están equipados).
Los siguientes (2) cables son para radios de mercado secundario con multimedios/navegación que
incluyen estos cables (si no se requieren, encíntelos e ignórelos):
• Conecte el cable verde claro al cable de freno de mano (si aplica).
• Conecte el cable verde/púrpura al cable de reversa (si aplica).

• Con la llave en posición de apagado, conecte el arnés AXSWCH-T28 en el AXSWC
(se vende por separado), y después en el vehículo.
• Siga las instrucciones incluidas en el AXSWC (se vende por separado) para las conexiones

dejan de parpadear, o los controles en el volante no funcionan, consulte las instrucciones
incluidas en el AXSWC (se vende por separado) para la resolución de problemas.
