5.3 Electrical signal measurements of factory speaker signals using the
Advanced Input Signal Analyzers (AISA)
The AMI allows you to measure the output signal of an OEM amplier in combination with the Advanced Input Signal
Analyzer (AISA) in the DSP PC-Tool. To do this, the signal from the OEM amplier must be connected to the terminals
of the enclosed RCA to highlevel adapter.
The speaker outputs of the OEM amplier must be connected to the included RCA-to-highlevel adapter, which is then
plugged into the Line input (R) of the AMI (page 21, point 7). The Line input (R) voltage switch (page 21, point 6) must
be set to 40 V. Then, connect the AMI to your PC using the provided USB-C cable.
Note: When using DSP PC-Tool 5, ensure that the right Line Input of the AMI is selected in the AISA settings before
starting the measurement.
To do this, navigate to the IO tab, open the Advanced Input Signal Analyzer by clicking on the icon, and then click
the icon.
